Job summary

Saputo Inc. is hiring for a Packaging role in Wisconsin. The position involves performing packaging duties, rotating across lines, and reading production schedules to ensure smooth operations. You will follow safety rules and GMP standards while maintaining quality checks.

Starting wage is $22.62 per hour with a $1 shift premium for hours between 6pm and 6am, plus excellent benefits after 90 days. 3rd shift runs 8pm–6am or 8:30pm–6:30am, depending on scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education, experience, or training.
• Excellent work ethic, consistent attendance, and must be able to work overtime and holidays.
• Ability to work with mathematical figures (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
• Physical ability to perform medium to heavy work, including lifting 25-30 lb tubs.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging duties as assigned by the Packaging Supervisor.
• Rotate between lines and positions while maintaining good ergonomics.
• Read and understand production and packaging schedules and verification reports.
• Assist in setting up for production and changeovers.
• Visually inspect products for quality defects.
• Observe all safety and work rules and procedures.
• Operate and maintain foamer and handle cleaning procedures.
• Adhere to GMP and food safety policies.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter ...

• Perform any and all packaging duties as assigned by the Packaging Supervisor.
• Able to rotate between lines and positions practicing good ergonomics.
• Ability to work in a coordinated and cooperative manner in a team setting with team goals.
• Ability to read and understand production and packaging schedule and packaging verification reports.
• Assist in setting up for production and changeovers.
• Visually inspect product for quality defects.
• Observe all safety rules, work rules and procedures.
• Know all clean-up procedures and chemical handling procedures. Operate and maintain foamer.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and food safety

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent education, experience, or training.
• An excellent work ethic, consistent attendance, and must be able to work, overtime, and holidays.
• The ability to work comfortably with mathematical figures. (Addition, subtraction, multiply and divide)
• The Ability to physically be able to do medium to heavy work in terms of lifting, with frequent stooping, squatting, reaching, and handling 25-30# tubs of cheese/finished product.
