Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Assembler for the 3rd shift on-site in Lena, Wisconsin. The role supports production by rotating across lines, inspecting finished products, and following GMP and safety rules.

Starting at 22.62 USD per hour with a 1 USD shift premium for night hours, the position offers benefits after 90 days and full-time hours with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent education, experience, or training.
• Excellent work ethic, consistent attendance, and ability to work overtime and holidays.
• The ability to work with mathematical figures (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
• The physical ability to lift 25-30 lb tubs and perform medium to heavy work with bending.

Responsibilities

• Perform all packaging duties as assigned by the Packaging Supervisor.
• Rotate between lines and positions to support team goals.
• Read and understand production and packaging schedules and verification reports.
• Assist in setting up for production and changeovers.
• Visually inspect product for quality defects and adhere to GMP and safety rules.
• Operate and maintain the foamer and follow cleanup procedures.

Plus, excellent benefits after 90 days!****3rd shift hours:** 8 pm - 6 am and/or 8:30 pm - 6:30am**How You Will Make Contributions That Matter ...*** Perform any and all packaging duties as assigned by the Packaging Supervisor.* Able to rotate between lines and positions practicing good ergonomics.* Ability to work in a coordinated and cooperative manner in a team setting with team goals.* Ability to read and understand production and packaging schedule and packaging verification reports.* Assist in setting up for production and changeovers.* Visually inspect product for quality defects.* Observe all safety rules, work rules and procedures.* Know all clean-up procedures and chemical handling procedures.
