Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a production operator to create string cheese while upholding GMP and Food Safety standards. You will actively participate in daily manufacturing and ensure product quality.

Responsibilities include setting up cookers, extruders and cutters, monitoring cheese flow and weights, documenting deviations, and performing routine line cleanings. This role requires physical stamina and teamwork on a fast-paced dairy line.

Qualifications

• Maintain high accuracy in log records and SPC documentation.
• Read and follow manufacturing instructions precisely.
• Operate and set up dairy processing equipment with safety.
• Adapt to changing tasks while maintaining productivity.

Responsibilities

• Produce a smooth, uniform string cheese meeting specs.
• Follow GMP and Food Safety guidelines.
• Set up cookers, extruders, cutters and related equipment.
• Monitor cheese levels and extrusion accuracy.
• Extrude cheese to correct size, weight, and length.
• Record issues and report to Supervisor.
• Complete SPC documents for process controls.
• Take samples and perform weight checks every 15 minutes.
• Perform CIP/COP cleaning and maintain a clean area.
