Job summary

New Avenues for Youth is seeking a dedicated program supervisor to support youth in a trauma-informed, strengths-based setting. You will lead staff, build trust with youth, and ensure services align with program expectations.

You will onboard and coach new staff, collaborate with housing teams and agency colleagues, and maintain accurate records to support performance and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or social work, or equivalent experience working with high-risk youth;

  • Support Growth and Learning: Help onboard and train new staff, engage in supportive coaching conversations with program staff, and promote professional development.
  • Document the Journey: Maintain accurate and timely records related to youth engagements as well as staff supervision, ensuring that contract, licensing, and program expectations are met.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or social work, or equivalent experience working with high-risk youth;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with high-risk youth and/or in a residential facility
  • At least one year of supervisory experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be routinely exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
