Qualifications

• 2+ years in lake/pond maintenance or related outdoor trades.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to walk on steep slopes and work outdoors.

• Capable of safe driving with company vehicles.
• Interact with Operations Team, subcontractors, vendors and others.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Operations Manager.
• Maintain lakes and ponds and other Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs).
• Mowing, weed-eating, and trimming slopes and basins of ponds.
• Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.
• Schedule and monitor daily workloads.
• Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day.
• Attend crew and safety meetings.
• Prepare timesheets and daily paperwork as required.
• Safe driving of company-owned vehicles and trailers.
• Maintain on-site relations with clients and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in lake/pond maintenance, landscaping, commercial mowing, turf management, or erosion control.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds on a routine basis.
• Ability to walk on steep slopes for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend and stoop on a continual basis.
• Ability to work on slopes, near water, and in various weather conditions.
• Results-driven with strong attention to detail.
• Must comply with Dragonfly's policies and procedures.
• Great communication skills and ability to interact with multiple audiences, including but not limited to the Operations Team, subcontractors, vendors, and others.

Key Responsibilities

• Report to the Operations Manager
• Manage the maintenance of lakes and ponds, & other Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs).
• Mowing, weed-eating, and string trimming slopes and basins of ponds
• Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks.
• Schedule and monitor daily workloads
• Plan, coordinate, and collect equipment and materials each day.
• Attend and participate in crew and department general and safety meetings.
• Prepare timesheets and other daily paperwork as required by the company.
• Safe driving of company owned vehicles trucks (with or without trailers) and transporting crew members.
• Maintain on-site relations and communications with clients, contractors and/or subcontractors.

• Mowers - Stand on, walk behind, Ventrac.
• Edgers, string trimmers and chain saws
• Backpack blowers and sprayers
• Hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes and pruning tools.
