Job summary

4Wall is seeking a Moving Lights Department Technician to join our team in Sacramento. You will test and troubleshoot moving light gear, perform repairs and maintenance, and prepare equipment for orders, while ensuring safety and accurate inventory returns.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in moving light gear, a relevant manufacturer certificate, demonstrated electronics training, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. This is a full-time position with hourly pay of $21.00–$24.00 DOE.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience with moving light gear.
• Certificate from a moving light manufacturing company (e.g., Robe, High End, Vari-Lite, Martin).
• Demonstrated electronics training and experience in entertainment lighting preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot all moving light equipment functions.
• Repair and maintain equipment; prepare equipment for orders.
• Return equipment to inventory; work safely and report safety concerns.

We are looking for an Moving Lights Department Technician to come join the 4Wall team!

What you will be doing:

While every day is different at 4Wall, you will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting all moving light equipment functions, general repair and maintenance of the equipment, preparing equipment for orders, returning equipment back to inventory, working in a safe manner and reporting any safety concerns. What you bring to the table:

Our ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience with moving light gear, a certificate from a moving light manufacturing company (i.e., Robe, High End, Vari-Lite, Martin, etc.), demonstrated technical/electronics training, experience in entertainment lighting or comparable industry preferable, and must be able to lift 50 lbs.
