Job description

We are looking to add to our team of employees (Movers, Packers, and Drivers) both hourly (local and intrastate) and contractors (long haul). Your day will consist of packing, wrapping, loading, unloading furniture into homes, apartments, vaults, and storage units. As we gear up for the summer and the future, Carey Moving and Storage is looking to add to our staff of drivers. Typical work schedule is Monday through Saturday. Paid hours will vary each day depending on the job you are assigned to and the location of the job.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work well with others.
• Must be dependable, timely, and trustworthy. Must be comfortable around others and customer service focused. Must come to work ready to work.
• As a contractor, you must have your own tractor. Very competitive contract, with some of the higher % payouts in the industry.

This is hard work and takes a special person willing to do it. It can be very rewarding for the right person.
