Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is hiring a Server - Beer and Wine to guide Guests in ordering food and beverages, provide menu recommendations, and deliver fast counter service. You’ll support the kitchen and may cross-train as a Restaurant Worker, Concessionist, Box Office Cashier, or Usher as needed.

Ideal candidates will be friendly, English-speaking, with cash handling skills and strong guest service. This role offers flexible hours in a movie theater environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Proof of age as required by state law for alcohol service.
• Basic food handling training and local certifications as needed.
• Safe Alcohol Service training completed for positions involving alcohol.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance is expected.
• Energetic, friendly attitude during each shift.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math proficiency.
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner.
• Know bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the Guest experience.
• Record food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
• Handle transactions on the register with proper cash balance and ticket/inventory accuracy.
• Verify Guests' age for alcohol purchases and ensure designated areas are used for alcohol.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to boost sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of high-contact areas for Guests and staff.
• Follow safety and PPE guidelines; adapt to cleaning tasks as required.
• Monitor safety issues and report concerns to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
