Movers/Packers

Paul Davis Restoration provides emergency services and repairs homes and businesses damaged by fire, water, and storms.

We are looking for physically fit, responsible individuals to move furniture by loading items into and out of moving trucks. Movers are responsible for ensuring that items are undamaged and placed in the correct position in the new location.

To be successful as a mover you must have stamina to perform manual duties that often require strength. You should also be able to plan the most efficient ways to pack items into the moving truck.

Mover Responsibilities:

• Wrap furniture in protective material
• Put down flooring and corner protection to ensure no damage to home during move
• Load, pack, and unload items with care
• Ensure that no items are damaged while moving
• Place furniture in the requested positions at the new location
• Take inventory of items and ensure that no items are lost during transportation

Mover Requirements:

• Physically fit - able to lift 50 pounds
• Punctual and professional
• Able to efficiently plan your day
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history
• Able to pass a background and drug check including no felonies
• A high school qualification or equivalent is preferable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Shift:

• 8 hour shift

Work Days:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

• Tulsa, OK 74146: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Heavy lifting: 1 year (Preferred)
