Job summary

Mighty Moving Inc is hiring dedicated Movers and Crew Leaders in Bartlett, IL. This role requires physical work, the ability to lift heavy items, and a willingness to learn. You will join a locally-backed moving team with opportunities for advancement and a path to crew leadership.

Qualifications

• Heavy lifting up to 75 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Show up to work in Mighty Moving uniform.
• Assist in loading/unloading of furniture and items onto trucks/trailers, or within the same building.
• Work on stairs or with elevators as needed during moves.
• Furniture assembly and disassembly (experience preferred).
• Provide basic customer service and communicate with customers.
• Able to drive a pickup truck, attached trailer, moving trucks and other non CDL vehicles.
• Give ample notice of time off requests.
• In case of sick day or emergency, coordinate with coworkers to cover jobs.
• Maintain good communication with team and supervisors.

Description: This position is for movers and crew leaders with current work experience in the moving industry or related field. The right candidate has demonstrated that he/she can lift heavy objects above 75 lbs., and has the cardio to continue this task over consecutive hours. The right candidate is able to follow directions and learns quickly when using the proper tools and equipment to complete jobs safely and efficiently. We are looking for someone for a long-term position with a path to a crew leader role and pay raises.
