Job summary

Northwell Health’s Department of Neurology seeks BC/BE Movement Disorders physicians for full-time faculty appointments across Nassau, Suffolk, Manhattan and Westchester locations. The program includes DBS and HIFU, a large multidisciplinary team, and extensive teaching opportunities.

Qualifications

• D. Degree from an accredited institution (ACGME or foreign program that is similarly appropriately accredited).
• Completion of Neurology residency and Movement Disorders fellowship.
• Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible.
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York.

Responsibilities

• Provide superb clinical care to Movement Disorders patients.
• Participate in innovative care models.
• Engage in collaborative research.
• Lead progressive community programs.
• Contribute to teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Join a multi-disciplinary team within an expanding program.
