Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando seeks a fellowship-trained Movement Disorders Neurologist to join an established program providing comprehensive adult movement disorders care. The role includes menagerie of clinical responsibilities, education, and collaboration with neurosurgery and related specialties to advance DBS and other advanced therapies.

Candidate must have Movement Disorders fellowship, be Board certified or eligible in Neurology, and hold eligibility for unrestricted Florida licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology by ABPN.
• Movement Disorders fellowship training.
• Eligibility for unrestricted Florida medical licensure.
• Commitment to multidisciplinary, patient-centered care.
• Interest in education, outreach, and program development.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, Huntington's disease, ataxia, chorea, tic disorders, and related conditions.
• Perform neurologic evaluations, interpret studies, manage medications, and develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate advanced therapies with neurosurgery and related teams.
• Educate neurology residents and medical students; potential for fellowship participation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinics, case conferences, and quality improvement.
