Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a fellowship-trained Movement Disorders Neurologist to join a growing neuroscience program in sunny Orlando, FL. The position is full-time with 1.0 FTE and requires Movement Disorders fellowship, ABPN certification, and Florida licensure eligibility.

You will evaluate and treat Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, and related movement disorders, coordinate advanced therapies, and educate residents and students in a dynamic academic environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in Neurology by the ABPN.
• Movement Disorders fellowship training.
• Eligibility for unrestricted Florida medical licensure.
• Expertise and enthusiasm for movement disorders care.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and commitment to multidisciplinary, patient-centered care.
• Collaborative interest in education, outreach, quality improvement, and program development.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, Huntington's disease, ataxia, chorea, tic disorders, atypical parkinsonism, gait disorders, functional movement disorders, and related conditions.
• Perform neurologic examinations, interpret diagnostic studies, manage medications, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform procedures within training and privileges, including botulinum toxin injections.
• Coordinate advanced therapies with neurosurgery and related specialty teams.
• Participate in multidisciplinary clinics, case conferences, care coordination, and quality improvement.
• Educate neurology residents, medical students, and other learners, with potential future participation in a Movement Disorders fellowship.
