Job summary

The University of La Verne seeks a Fitness Instructor to lead movement classes at the Randall Lewis Center for Well-Being and Research. This is a non-federal work study position, but will consider those with federal work study also.

The instructor must be an ULV student and demonstrate excellent communication and customer service. Typical classes run Monday through Thursday from 7a to 11p and Friday 7a to 7p, with scheduling coordinated to fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Experience instructing others in movement required.
• Preferably traditional group fitness and/or dance classes (e.g. yoga, pilates, dance, hip-hop, HIIT, etc)
• Yoga instructors must be certified
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer service
• Must be a ULV student

Responsibilities

• Lead movement classes at the Randall Lewis Center for Well-Being and Research.
• Provide high-quality instruction and ensure student safety and engagement.
