Thompson Pipe Group in Rialto, CA is hiring for a Lift Truck Operator to move precast concrete pipe and coordinate with the crew leader. The role requires operating heavy equipment, performing daily inspections, and safely handling materials in all weather conditions.

You will swap attachments, troubleshoot issues, and complete daily reports while maintaining a strong safety focus and working up to 12 hours a day as needed. This position offers growth within a private, family-run company.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a safety-first mindset and ability to work up to 12 hours days.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and forklifts (10,000–110,000 lb).
• Able to perform inspections, maintenance, and load/unload precast pipe.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment in all weather and ground conditions.
• Coordinate with crew leader to determine methods and equipment needs.
• Conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Load/unload concrete pipe and materials from flatbeds, using machinery when needed.
• Swap attachments, verify information, troubleshoot, and make adjustments.
• Maintain documentation and end-of-day reports.
