Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group seeks a hands-on Construction Foreman to lead production crews in a heavy industrial precast concrete environment. You will supervise multiple stations, move between tasks, and ensure production runs safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of concrete experience with leadership or foreman roles, strong communication, and the ability to train staff while adhering to OSHA guidelines. This on-site role emphasizes teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on concrete experience including precast, ready-mix, flatwork, or installation on jobsites.
• Previous supervisory or foreman experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of concrete placement, forming, curing, finishing, and common defects.
• Ability to lead and direct employees in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production crews at assigned stations based on daily production needs.
• Move between production stations as needed to fill staffing gaps and maintain production flow.
• Lead crews through daily concrete production activities, including placing, forming, casting, finishing, and curing.
• Assign daily work and provide clear direction to employees regarding production expectations.
• Monitor production activities to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Inspect work and identify quality issues before defects occur.
• Communicate production concerns to the Production Manager.
• Maintain accurate production logs and status updates.
• Enforce safety policies, PPE, and OSHA requirements on the floor.
• Train and cross-train employees on procedures and practices.
