EnerSys is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to support shipping documents, BAAN/SAP data entry, and out-of-country shipments. This 12-hour day shift role is based in Springfield, MO.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least 1 year in shipping/receiving or admin roles, with MS Office and MRP familiarity; forklift license or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and 1+ year shipping/receiving experience.
• Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in local language.
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret quality tools.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents.
• Prepare shipping documents, including out of country shipments; ensure documents are completed and filed properly.
• Accurately and timely complete entries into BAAN/SAP.
• Create plan shipment documents.
• Provide backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department staff when assigned.
• Must be able to operate a lift truck and have or obtain forklift license.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

The Shipping & Receiving Operator coordinates shipping documents and reconciles production reporting daily; prepares transport documents for out of country shipments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents
• Prepare shipping documents, including out of country shipments. Ensures required documents are accurately completed and maintained n an orderly file.
• Accurately and timely completes entries into BAAN/SAP.
• Creates plan shipment documents
• Provides backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned.
• Must be able to operate a lift truck, and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution and at least 1-year experience in an administrative support role and or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center
• Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS office
• Ability to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto Charts, Bar graphs, Flow charts, and other quality tools

General Job Requirements

• This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
• This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company’s driving requirements. Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.
