Job Purpose

Perform various tasks to assemble products efficiently and accurately.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Start-up and operate equipment
  • Troubleshoot and adjust equipment as necessary
  • Follow all departmental instructions and procedures
  • Visually inspect materials for defects
  • Control scrap and waste
  • Accurately count and record production data
  • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards
  • Adhere to ISO, environmental, and safety protocols
  • Perform mechanical tasks using hand and power tools to construct products
  • Pack and secure materials for transport
  • Work as part of a team to meet production targets, liaise with maintenance to minimize machine downtime
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic math skills (subtract, multiply, divide, percentages)
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret instructions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience

  • Ability to differentiate colors
  • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos regularly, with assistance for heavier loads
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Wearing PPE at all times
  • Willingness to wear a respirator
  • Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Awareness of electrical shock risks
  • Exposure to harmful materials like lead and fiberglass, with periodic blood testing and safety precautions
  • Work in a plant/warehouse environment with varying conditions
