Job summary

Tamarack Resort is seeking a Lift Electrician to perform ski lift electrical maintenance, including preventative and unscheduled work, and to assist on snowmaking systems. The role requires climbing ski lift towers and servicing on-mountain equipment in all weather conditions.

Ideal candidates have a journeyman electrical background, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work with the Lift Maintenance team in a mountain environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electrical field or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Weekend and holiday availability during the operating season.
• Comfortable working in extreme mountain weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ski lift electrical systems, preventative and unscheduled.
• Work on snowmaking systems as needed.
• Assist with electrical maintenance across on-mountain equipment.
• Climb chairlift towers to troubleshoot equipment up to 70 feet.
• Respond to stopped lift issues quickly in all weather.
