Job summary

Mammoth Mountain is seeking an experienced electrical technician to maintain and repair lift electrical and control systems in the demanding Alpine environment. You will work on chair lifts, gondolas, and surface lifts, ensuring reliability and safety while following industry standards.

The role requires hands-on preventative maintenance, readiness for outages, and capable teamwork. A 4-10 schedule with weekend work and heights may be involved. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of electrical experience.
• High voltage (12kV) experience and safety compliance.
• Experience inspecting and maintaining lift control systems.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Ability to work at heights and in adverse weather.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and control systems for chair lifts, gondolas, and surface lifts.
• Work with lift control systems, motors, drives, sensors, communication systems, and safety circuits to ensure reliable lift operations.
• Perform preventative electrical maintenance and respond to lift outages and faults.
• Follow safety standards, state regulations, and best practices; work independently or with technicians.
