Job summary

Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Manager for Steamboat Springs, CO, to oversee receiving, storage and distribution while upholding safety and quality standards. Lead a warehouse team and coordinate with other departments to meet goals.

The role requires at least 2 years in warehousing with people management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate all required equipment. A high school diploma is required. This salaried position includes travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years in warehouse with inventory and people management.
• Basic computer skills; experience with shipping/receiving software.
• Food safety knowledge; familiar with health dept regulations.
• Organizational skills to manage mass quantities across points.
• Supervisory skills: interview, hire, train, schedule, evaluate.
• Ability to perform all warehouse jobs.
• Knowledge of mountain trails, traffic, operations.
• Safe operation of required equipment.
• Positive interactions with guests, staff, management per service standards.

Responsibilities

• Forecast labor needs for efficient operations.
• Maintain cleanliness in storage and cooler/freezer areas.
• Manage mail room services.
• Order supplies and stock to maintain par levels.
• Manage daily transfers accounting and reporting.
• Reconcile and pay freight bills; comply with policies and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
