Woodward Tahoe in Soda Springs, CA seeks a Mountain Operations Manager to lead mountain operations year-round, oversee patrol, lift, parking and ticketing teams, and drive safe, efficient service. The role emphasizes staff development, budgeting, and cross-department coordination to ensure premier guest experiences.

You will manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and scheduling while maintaining safety standards and operational readiness for winter and summer activities.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills across multiple departments.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and developing staff.
• Ability to create staffing schedules and manage labor budgets.
• Experience with safety policies, risk management, and incident reporting.
• Familiarity with maintenance planning and project coordination.
• Knowledge of resort operations, budgeting, and equipment upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Soda Springs Mountain Operations and related departments.
• Oversee staffing, training, and performance management.
• Develop and enforce safety policies and risk management practices.
• Plan and coordinate summer maintenance and winter season prep.
• Manage department budgets and payroll records.
• Coordinate with snowmaking, grooming, and facility teams to ensure readiness.
