Job summary

A mineral exploration company is seeking a Mountain Crew Foreman for the Palmer VMS Project in Haines, Alaska. This full-time seasonal position requires leadership in mountain support tasks and emergency response in challenging environments. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma, experience in mountain rescue operations, and certifications in First Aid. Competitive salary and accommodation provided during field season. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mountain rescue operations in remote areas.
• 5+ years’ experience in helicopter operations is preferred.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction of drill and pump pads.
• Coordinate daily with driller foreman.
• Conduct risk assessments for exploration activities.
• Assist with emergency response efforts in mountainous terrain.
