Overview

Responsible for the fast-paced processing of ski and snowboard rental equipment sales. Must be energetic, outgoing, and able to interact with guests in a friendly and fun manner. As a customer-focused organization, a crucial part of each employee's job is to get and keep guests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cash drawer accuracy at the start of each shift.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Enter data into the computerized rental equipment system.
• Cash out and balance the drawer at the end of each day.
• Assist guests with information about rental, lift, and ski school options.
• Contribute to team efforts by participating in job sharing, maintaining the cleanliness of the resort, ensuring guest and employee safety, participating in safety meetings, accepting diverse assignments, and maintaining a positive attitude in all interactions.
• Meet service level objectives and department goals as set by the supervisor.
• May be required to work in Food and Beverage during the day.
• Must be cross-trained in all Rental Shop positions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months of related experience/training, or equivalent. Retail experience is a plus.
