Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate molds for plastic/metal components as per product requirements.
• Carry out hands-on repair and maintenance of tools and equipment (AC, Washing Machine, Refrigerator, Moulds, and other appliances).
• Lead mold assembly, fitting, and maintenance activities to ensure smooth production.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mold-related issues during production.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for molds to avoid downtime.
• Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to optimize mold performance.
• Ensure mold designs are cost-effective, durable, and meet customer specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors for mold manufacturing, repair, and modification.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, mold history records, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ISO standards in mold operations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and technicians.
