StarCare Specialty Health System is seeking a full-time Outreach Specialist to join its team in implementing community-based strategies to prevent opioid misuse and overdose with the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP). This position is funded through opioid prevention grant and focuses on engaging at-risk populations, building partnerships, and delivering evidence-based education and resources to reduce opioid-related harm.

This is an office-based, full-time (non-exempt) position scheduled Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with flexibility to meet the needs of the department.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a major in a human services field or related field (Psychology, Sociology, Family Studies, etc.) required. Experience in a related field, preferred.
