Job summary

Jay Hatfield Chevrolet Buick GMC in Claremore, OK is seeking a motorsports technician to join our family-owned dealership. You will perform repairs on motorcycles, ATVs and other motorsports vehicles, using diagnostics and factory procedures to ensure quality workmanship.

We offer paid training, competitive pay up to $35 per hour with a weekly guarantee, and benefits including medical, dental, 401K matching, paid vacation, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong motorsports technician background in motorsports (ATVs, motorcycles, etc.).
• Strong sense of teamwork and ability to collaborate with others.
• Must have your own tools for a variety of repairs and diagnostics.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a driving record check.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with attention to detail and quality.
• Test ride units and test components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Communicate with the service advisor to keep customers informed of repairs.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs and manage workload.
• Perform repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Know product offerings, optional packages and latest technology.
• Diagnose, service, install performance upgrades and repairs.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong motorsports technician background in motor sports (ATV's, motorcycles, etc.)
• Strong sense of teamwork
• Must have your own tools
• Must have valid driver's license and pass driving record check
• Strong teamwork skills
• At least 18 years of age
• Must pass a pre employment drug screen (THC not tested for pre employment)

What You Will Do

• Perform work specified on repair orders with attention to detail and emphasis on quality
• Test ride units, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Communicate directly to the service advisor to keep customers informed of repair and if any additional service is needed
• Time management ability for providing an estimate of time needed for additionalrepairs
• Performing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Know the in's and out's of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
• Accurately diagnose, service, install performance upgrades and repairs
