Job summary

Toyota Racing Development (TRD) offers a 12-week summer internship for students actively pursuing a bachelor’s or higher degree in Automotive Technology, CS, Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Interns will work on tasks across aerodynamics, chassis engineering, CNC programming, engine design and production, gaining real-world experience in a fast-paced motorsport environment.

Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA, strong communication skills, and be able to work independently.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a full-time accredited bachelor’s or higher degree program in one of the specified disciplines.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of computer application software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support TRD projects related to aerodynamics, chassis engineering, CNC programming, engine design and development.
• Gain hands-on experience through tasks aligned with the student’s field of study.
• Network with professionals and expand technical skills during the 12-week internship.
