_ Summary:_
Mancuso Harley-Davidson Crossroads is seeking a skilled Motorcycle Technician with proven experience in motorcycle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. If you’re passionate about Harley-Davidson motorcycles and committed to top-quality workmanship, we want you on our team.
_ Duties & Responsibilities:_
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Harley-Davidson motorcycles and related products.
- Troubleshoot and repair engines, electrical systems, suspensions, transmissions, and drivetrains.
- Perform performance tuning, customization work, and accessory installations as needed.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to ensure motorcycles meet factory specifications and safety standards.
- Accurately complete warranty, recall, and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer guidelines.
- Keep thorough, up-to-date documentation of work performed using the repair order system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with dealership and OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and parts department to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of jobs.
- Stay current on factory training, technical bulletins, and new model information.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Graduation from MMI (Motorcycle Mechanics Institute), UTI motorcycle program, or similar formal motorcycle tech training.
- Professional experience working as a motorcycle technician (Harley-Davidson preferred).
- Ability to diagnose and repair motorcycles independently without supervision.
- Valid motorcycle endorsement on driver’s license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screening.
- Authorization to work in the USA.
_ Preferred Qualifications:_
- Harley-Davidson factory certifications.
- Experience with performance upgrades and custom builds.
- Familiarity with dealership service systems and processes (e.g., electronic repair orders).
- Strong customer service mindset and teamwork skills.
Additional Information
** Compensation: Flat Rate (Paid per Flagged Hour)**
- Annual compensation ranges from $75,000 to $125,000+
- Depending on experience, certifications, and flag hours
- Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified technicians
- Flat rate bonus paid annually based on hours turned and tenure*
** Schedule:**
- Tuesday - Saturday work scheduled
- Sundays & Mondays off
