Job summary

Iron Steed Harley-Davidson, located in Vacaville, CA, seeks a skilled Motorcycle Technician to diagnose, repair, and service motorcycles in a fast-paced retail setting. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized motorcycle technician training program or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proven experience in motorcycle repair and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of motorcycle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license with M1 endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics on motorcycles to identify mechanical, electrical, and safety issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake adjustments, tire replacements, and chain lubrication.
• Repair or replace defective parts including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair status and recommendations to customers and service advisors.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and manufacturer specifications during all repair and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with parts department to order and manage inventory of necessary components.
• Stay updated on the latest motorcycle technologies, tools, and repair techniques through ongoing training.

As a Motorcycle Technician within the retail trade industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of motorcycles for our customers. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, and executing complex repairs to a high standard.
