Job summary

Bob's Motorcycles in Jessup, MD is seeking a driven, hands-on Service Porter to join our full-time team. You’ll help keep the shop running smoothly, from moving bikes to supporting customers and riders with enthusiasm.

This role runs Tuesday–Saturday and offers a competitive starting pay of $16-$17 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and a motorcycle-loving team environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable maneuvering motorcycles of all sizes.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug test.
• Self-motivated, energetic and reliable attitude.
• Positive approach to customer service and coworker relationships.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Eligible to work in the USA.
• Valid motorcycle license preferred or prior motorcycle experience.
• Ability to transport a 10ft trailer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Push bikes out before shop opens and in after shop closes, or as directed.
• Wash motorcycles for dealer inventory and service customers.
• Uncrate motorcycles to rolling chassis or for inspection and storage; operate forklift as directed.
• Maintain service demo fleet, including tire pressure checks, oil levels, and bike cleaning.
• Other duties as requested.

From handling bikes of all sizes to helping to keep the shop running smoothly, you'll play a key part in delivering the high-quality experience we're known for. This position runs Tuesday-Saturday and offers competitive starting pay of $16-$17 per hour based on experience and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Push bikes out before shop opens and in after shop closes, or as directed.
• Wash motorcycles for dealer inventory and service customers.
• Uncrate motorcycles to rolling chassis or for inspection and storage. Operate forklift as directed.
• Maintain service demo fleet, such as checking tire pressure and oil levels and cleaning bikes as needed.
• Other duties as requested.

Requirements:

• Ability to confidently maneuver motorcycles of all sizes.
• Clean driver record and drug test.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and reliable.
• Positive attitude toward customer service and relationship with coworkers.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.
• Eligible to work in the USA.
• Valid motorcycle license, or previous experience with motorcycles, is preferred.
