Cycle Springs Powersports, LLC, a division of the Dimmitt Automotive Group, seeks a dedicated Motorcycle Technician to diagnose, repair and service motorcycles and ATVs. The role includes warrants, maintenance, and parts installation in a fast-paced shop environment in Clearwater, FL.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years powersports experience, and preferred motorcycle mechanic training and factory certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years related technician experience in powersports preferred.
• Formal motorcycle mechanics training preferred.
• Factory certifications (Yamaha/Sea-Doo/Kawasaki/Suzuki) preferred.
• Unrestricted Florida motorcycle endorsement license required.
• Clean driving record and ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and service motorcycles and ATVs systems and components.
• Complete warrantied repairs to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical, engine, brake, and transmission issues.
• Communicate repair timeframe to Service Advisor.
• Install parts and perform additional repairs as needed.
• Attend to other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 based upon skills, experience and certification(s)!

The Motorcycle Technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair and service maintenance of motorcycles and ATVs, while following Company guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

1. Diagnose, repair and service motorcycles and ATVs systems and components
2. Completes warrantied repairs to manufacturer specifications
3. Completes all routine maintenance
4. Troubleshoots problems with electrical system, engines, brakes, transmissions, etc
5. Communicates timeframe for repairs and service needed with Service Advisor
6. Install new parts as needed
7. Repairs components as needed
8. Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose root of problem
• Ability to identify proper tools and equipment needed for repairs
• Willing and able to communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding the status of repair orders
• Highly professional, organized, and dependable
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including Saturday
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow directions and meet goals
• Maintain and uphold safety standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years related technician experience in the powersports industry required.
• Formal training in motorcycle mechanics program highly preferred.
• Factory certifiedfrom Yamaha, Sea-Doo, Kawasaki, Suzuki highly preferred.
• Unrestricted valid Floridadriver license with motorcycle endorsementrequired.
• Clean driving record
• ASE certifications preferred
• Excellent work history
• Excellent customer service skills
