Job summary

City and County of Broomfield's Clerk and Recorder's Department seeks a Recording and Motor Vehicle Specialist II on a full-time basis. The position follows a 4x10 schedule, Monday-Thursday with occasional Fridays, and handles complex motor vehicle transactions with strong customer service and accuracy.

The role requires knowledge of Colorado DMV rules, attention to detail, and the ability to train and support the Motor Vehicle team, while processing title and registration duties and

Qualifications

• Complete required State Certifications as well as continued education classes needed to access state web based operating systems.
• High School Diploma/GED is required per the posting.
• DRIVES Compliance Certification must be obtained at time of hire.
• 2 years experience required in Motor Vehicle; clerical or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process complex motor vehicle transactions with accuracy and high customer service.
• Mentor Motor Vehicle Specialist I and support team training.
• Reconcile daily deposits and prepare MV reports for finance review.
• Assist residents and businesses via phone, mail, email or in person regarding ownership accounts and policies.
