Job summary

Christie Lites is seeking a Repair Technician in Nashville, TN to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on our rental lighting, control, and FX gear. This role involves recording repairs, ordering parts, and performing preventative maintenance to uphold Christie Lites standards.

The position offers a starting pay of $20.00 per hour and includes the standard Christie Lites benefits package, including PTO and company-sponsored benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing rental equipment (lighting, control, FX) to Christie Lites standards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication, ability to collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and fixes electrical and/or mechanical faults in CL rental equipment.
• Limit repairs to circuit-board level where applicable.
• Modify and upgrade ORPL equipment per CL technotes.
• Record all repairs in Repair Tracking Systems.
• Place parts orders when not in stock.
• Perform preventative maintenance as outlined in the Service Reference Guide.

Job Purpose

The Repair Technician repairs equipment to Christie Lites standards.

Responsibilities

1. Diagnoses and fixes issues with CL rental equipment by:

• Repairing electrical and/or mechanical faults in Lighting, Control and Special FX products including ancillary equipment such as main distribution and networking.
• Limiting the electronic repairs to circuit board level.
• Modifying and upgrading ORPL equipment to CL standards as specified in CL Technotes.
• Recording all repairs in Repair Tracking Systems.
• Placing Parts orders when not in stock.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance as outlined in the Service Reference Guide.
