Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Technician in Houston, TX to support engineering and quality teams. The role involves overseeing the testing lab, managing calibration schedules, and performing dynamometer testing on electric motors, while contributing to IQC/OQC inspections and RMA processes.

Onsite work in Houston is required. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience or familiarity with electric motors, VFDs, motor drivers, or related electronic components, and strong organizational skills to maintain

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience or familiarity with electric motors, VFDs, drivers or electronic components is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing lab records and test documentation.
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the testing lab, ensuring equipment and workspaces are well maintained.
• Manage calibration schedules and ensure all test equipment remains within calibration compliance.
• Perform electric motor dynamometer testing and record accurate performance data.
• Conduct IQC and OQC inspections.
• Support RMA testing, evaluation, and documentation as part of the RMA process.
