Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is seeking a Motor Grader Operator to join our Florida-based road construction crews.

This role focuses on moving earth or stone to a very precise grade, with safety and efficiency as a priority. The position requires at least 2 years of road building and grading experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid Florida driver’s license. You must be able to work days, nights, or weekends and complete required paperwork efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Employer conducts drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Shape and finish sub grades, base materials, shoulders, slopes and ditches.
• Inspect equipment daily and check fluids.
• Complete required paperwork efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MOTOR GRADER OPERATOR

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. We are seeking to fill a Motor Grader Operator position for our local operations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Will perform duties to the operator of the motor grader in a safe and efficient manner to move earth or stone to a very precise grade
• Must be able to perform a variety of tasks which may include shaping and fine grading sub grades, base materials, shoulder, slopes, and cutting ditches
• Will inspect equipment daily for defective parts and check fluids before starting
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in road building, site grading and finishing, sloping and banking required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
• Able to complete all required paperwork efficiently
• Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver's license
• Employer conducts drug screening and background check
