Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Motor Grader Operator to join our team at Ram Pavement. Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate motorized graders and related machinery to accurately shape and finish surfaces according to technical specifications.
• Set up and calibrate equipment using blueprint reading, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CNC programming knowledge.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on grading equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges to verify dimensions and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of hand tools, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and materials handling procedures.
• Assist with fabrication, assembly line tasks, and materials preparation as needed to support production flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, quality checks, and machine maintenance logs.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating motor graders or similar machinery within a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, CNC programming, CAM programming, and CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Mechanical knowledge of machining processes including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, and welding techniques.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operation and automation control.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools accurately.
• Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tolerances and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
