Werner Electric Supply Company is hiring a Motor Control Centers (MCC) Technical Specialist to assist customers in design specification and execution of motor control and power products and services.

You will produce MCC proposals, validate electrical drawings, and perform sizing calculations to ensure safe operation. Collaborate with projects, sales, and product teams to meet customer expectations while negotiating discounts and maintaining margins.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 1-year certificate from technical school or 2-3 years of electrical/electro-mechanical experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Associate's degree in electrical, automation, or electro-mechanical is preferred.
• Experience with MCCs and reading electrical prints is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce MCC proposals and bill of materials for customers and vendors.
• Validate electrical drawings to determine BOM for requests.
• Perform horsepower and current-load calculations for sizing.
