Job summary

Unusual Machines in Orlando, FL is seeking a hands-on Motor Assembler to join our production team. You will solder, fit, and bond motor components to deliver reliable FPV drone motors and power future tech.

You enjoy working from precise instructions and collaborating with engineers in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and on-time outputs, with daily targets and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in assembly or soldering (preferred).
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble motor components using fixtures, presses, adhesives, and hand tools.
• Solder motor wires and terminals to meet quality standards.
• Inspect and identify good vs. defective parts and escalate issues promptly.
• Follow detailed work instructions and accurately maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and technicians to ensure smooth production flow.
• Complete startup and shutdown procedures for each shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Consistently deliver high-quality assemblies that meet daily production targets.
