• We are a 100% volunteer, remote organization seeking a creative Motion Designer to build animated assets and motion graphics for our social channels and promote democracy. You should be proficient in Adobe After Effects and other Adobe CC apps. This role is ideal for those passionate about storytelling through video and eager to make an impact with their creative skills.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and design dynamic motion graphics for video content
• Collaborate with team members to align on creative vision for various projects
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Maintain brand consistency across all videos
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for innovative content
• Optimize video content for digital platforms
• Conduct quality checks and revisions
• Organize motion graphic assets and project files

Who You Are

• 2-3 years of experience as a Motion Graphics Designer-Animator or Video Editor
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Ability to create engaging motion graphics from scratch
• Strong visual aesthetics, pacing, and brand sense
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work under deadlines
• Creative and proactive mindset
• Portfolio or reel showcasing previous work
• Interest in social media videos, including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
• Located in the US, available for 2-3 hours weekly during core hours (M-F 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. PT)
