Job summary

AKA NYC is seeking a Motion Graphic Designer to join our content and creative team in New York. You will craft visuals for campaigns across platforms, collaborating with Creative Directors and producers.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of motion design experience, a strong reel, and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite. You will contribute to storytelling through 2D and 3D animation while maintaining brand consistency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in motion graphics, animation, or related roles.
• Strong demo reel or portfolio showcasing motion design and storytelling capabilities.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Experience creating 2D and 3D motion graphics across multiple platforms and formats.
• Strong understanding of design principles including typography, composition, color, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage projects independently from concept to completion in a fast-paced creative environment.

We’re looking for a Motion Graphic Designer to join our content and creative team. This role is ideal for a highly creative motion designer with strong visual storytelling skills, technical expertise, and a passion for entertainment and culture. The Motion Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with Creative Directors and content producers to develop engaging motion content across multiple platforms and activations.

WHAT WE OFFER:

The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $80,000 to $105,000 per year. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and years of experience.
