Job summary

GBH is seeking a Motion Designer/Editor to join its Creative team in Boston. You will conceptualize and produce motion graphics, animation, and edited video for broadcast and digital platforms, collaborating across brands and audiences.

A strong visual eye and ability to adapt to styles are essential, with opportunities to lead shoots depending on experience. The role blends design, storytelling and technical execution within hybrid work arrangements, requiring onsite presence two days a week

Qualifications

A strong portfolio demonstrating visual judgement across styles.
Strong typography, composition and color fundamentals.
Ability to reproduce and extend existing work while preserving style.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and motion workflows.
Experience with video production, including camera operation or lighting is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, design and execute motion graphics, animation and edited video.
Work within existing systems and adapt to different visual styles while maintaining brands.
Develop new approaches with style frames, storyboards and motion tests.
Own projects from concept to final delivery within schedules and budgets.
Design and animate graphics packages, show opens and branded content.
Edit short-form video with storytelling, pacing and sound.
Collaborate with leadership, producers and clients; respond to feedback and revisions.
Stay current with evolving tools and workflows and share knowledge.
