Spin Master Ltd is seeking a Motion Designer and Editor to shape the Hellbreak TCG brand through animation, design, and video edits. This 3-month contract focuses on high-impact social and digital content with a dark horror vibe.

Based in Long Island City, NY (hybrid), you will create daily assets and paid media materials, collaborating with game designers and studio producers to extend the horror world across platforms.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in video editing, motion design, or content creation.
• Experience supporting entertainment, gaming, or pop-culture brands is a plus.
• Ability to translate art into motion and social formats.

Responsabilités

• Convert static card art into atmospheric video formats using 2D animation and motion graphics.
• Own end-to-end editing, graphic design, and animation for daily social content and paid media assets.
• Format and optimize video and static assets for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Shoot mobile-first social content including behind-the-scenes and studio footage.
• Maintain the dark, suspenseful Hellbreak horror aesthetic across digital touchpoints.
• Collaborate with creative teams to streamline content pipelines.

Spin Master Ltd is seeking a Motion Designer and Editor to help define the Hellbreak TCG brand through animation, graphic design, and video editing. This 3-month contract role is focused on producing high-impact social and digital content, including daily assets and paid media materials, with a distinctive dark horror aesthetic.

Role Summary

You will serve as the visual voice of the Hellbreak TCG brand across social media and digital platforms. The work includes animating, designing, and editing content that expands the horror world, supports the TCG community, and enhances gameplay by bringing hand-drawn card illustrations to life through motion graphics and video.

Responsibilities

• Convert static, illustrated card art into atmospheric video formats using 2D animation, parallax effects, and motion graphics
• Own end-to-end editing, graphic design, and animation for daily social content and paid media assets
• Format, package, and optimize video and static assets to align with current trends, layouts, and algorithms on TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Shoot mobile-first social content, including behind-the-scenes footage, convention coverage, and studio content shoots
• Maintain and scale the signature dark, suspenseful Hellbreak horror aesthetic across all digital touchpoints
• Collaborate with core creative teams, game designers, and in-house studio producers to streamline the content pipeline

Requirements

• Professional experience in video editing, motion design, or content creation, preferably supporting entertainment, gaming, or pop-culture brands
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Proven ability to work with layered PSD and AI files to execute 2D animations, particle effects, and dynamic transitions
• Deep familiarity with the history, tropes, visual pacing, and aesthetics of the horror genre
• Strong technical understanding of social platform formats, mobile‑first shooting techniques, and vertical video optimization
• Bonus: Active knowledge of physical trading card games (TCGs) and their community dynamics

Compensation

Pay range (New York): USD $40 to $50 per hour
The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on factors that may include years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, and other considerations.
