Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinating with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes and compassionate support for patients and families.

The RN will assess patients, administer medications, assist during procedures, educate patients and families, and participate in code team activities while upholding safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• RN licensure required; Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to implement care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR/code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control protocols and safe patient environment.
• Document care thoroughly in medical records.
