Responsibilities

• Develop a traffic control plan and oversee installation and removal of traffic control devices as per plan.
• Monitor and train crews, delegate flagger assignments, and ensure performance.
• Maintain daily MOT logs and conduct periodic inspections of devices with corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with Owner on maintenance of traffic and daily liaison duties.
• Monitor inventory and ensure adequate supply for each project.
• Submit daily MOT reports and maintain quality control of traffic control devices.

• Must be able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Fluency in Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

The certified MOT Manager’s sole responsibility will be the maintenance of traffic on the project. This includes, but is not limited to, the installation, operation, maintenance and service of traffic control devices, hazard identification, and crew training. Also required is the daily maintenance log to record maintenance of traffic activities. He/she shall also serve as a liaison with the Owner concerning the Contractor’s maintenance of traffic.

• Develop a traffic control plan.
• Install and remove traffic control devices per the traffic control plan.
• Delegates assignments to flaggers and monitors their performance.
• Monitor inventory, quality control of current inventory, and provide proper amount for each project.
• Complete daily MOT reports.
• Administer periodic inspections of traffic control devices and provide corrective action as needed.
