Job summary

Mosquito Joe of Southeast Michigan is seeking a Field Technician (Commercial Pesticide Applicator) to lead our field team and service residential and commercial properties with outdoor pest control. You must hold or obtain state certifications for core and Mosquito 7f, have a valid driver’s license, pass a background check, and deliver world-class customer service.

Wages start at 15.00/hour with flexible hours and rewards based on performance.

Job Description

The Mosquito Joe Field Technician (Commercial Pesticide Applicator) must maintain current and valid state certifications/licenses to enable the business to service residential and commercial properties. The Field Technician (Commercial Pesticide Applicator) directly services customer accounts and properties, is responsible for providing world-class customer service, and ensures compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations, in addition to rules detailed on pesticide labels. The Field Technician visits customer properties in the Mosquito Joe company vehicle and will inspect their property and treat it as requested. There are opportunities to earn more than just your base wage just by doing your regular duties, as well as random and performance based rewards. Hours are flexible and we can pretty much work around what your schedule is, so whether you're full or part time, we would love to speak to you!

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities for Mosquito / Pest Control Technician

• Have commercial pesticide applicator certification/license with the State of Michigan for core and 7f (Mosquito), or be able to obtain said license (study materials provided)
• Provide expert advice to customers on outdoor pest control
• Discuss products and services in a limited capacity directly with interested customers
• Treat customer properties according to the company guidelines, as well as federal, state and local regulations
• Provide expert outdoor pest control service to customers
• Maintain licensing requirements and proficiency to conduct Mosquito Joe services
• Drive a company vehicle safely, follow all state and local laws and regulations

Education and Experience for Mosquito / Pest Control Technician

• 18 years of age or older

Compensation: 15.00/hour
