Job summary

Mosquito Joe of Texas Hill Country is seeking a Field Technician to join our growing, locally owned team. You will provide outdoor pest control services, explain procedures to customers, and maintain strong customer relationships in residential and commercial settings.

Requirements include state pesticide certification, a valid driver’s license, and a safety-minded, reliable, and professional approach. The role involves lifting equipment, driving between sites, and flexible hours to serve

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks and other outdoor pests.
• Explain to customers the expectations for services and procedures.
• Maintain good customer relationships.
• Maintain chemical and operational records per state requirements.
• Keep service vehicles clean and organized.
• Handle pesticides safely following state and federal regulations.
• Complete pesticide certification requirements and continuing education.
• Able to walk properties with equipment over 60lbs for long periods.

Job Description

Our field technicians provide outdoor pest control services to customer yards. Customer service is paramount.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks and other outdoor pests
• Thoroughly explain to the customer the expectations for services and procedures
• Maintain good customer relationships
• Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements
• Maintain clean and well-organized service vehicles
• Handle pesticides in safe manner in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Complete pesticide certification requirements and complete continuing education requirements
• Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weight over 60lbs. for long periods of time in warm temperatures
• Comfortable driving to customer locations
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours
• Willing to market the Mosquito Joe service

Education and Experience

• Valid and current certification/license as required by the state for the commercial application of pesticides (may also qualify to complete the certification/licensing program during initial training)
