Job summary

Mosquito & Pest Authority is seeking a Mosquito & Pest Control Specialist to work on commercial and residential properties, applying proven pest-control methods. There is no experience required; we provide comprehensive training and a friendly, professional team environment.

This role is outdoors, physically active, and involves customer interactions. You will perform duties safely, maintain equipment, and drive to client locations, with a typical Mon-Fri schedule and opportunities for

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Physical duties include standing, walking, climbing, lifting.
• Flexible schedule including weekends during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training and ongoing education.
• Operate pesticide equipment and safety gear.
• Respond to customer inquiries and communicate with management.
• Inspect for pest entry points and mosquito habitats.
• Complete job documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean company vehicle and drive to client properties.
• Possess a flexible schedule including occasional weekends.

As a Mosquito & Pest Control Specialist at Mosquito & Pest Authority, you will use proven mosquito and pest-control products and techniques on both commercial and residential properties. Our Specialists provide expert pest control in a friendly, respectful, and efficient manner. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Participate fully in training and ongoing education opportunities provided to enhance knowledge and to meet requirements for licensing.
• Work in a safe manner in accordance with state requirements, OSHA policies and procedures, and maintaining and utilizing required safety equipment when performing duties.
• Use of pesticide equipment to include sprayers, ladders, backpack blowers (up to 60 pounds) in heat and humidity, often through uneven terrain.
• Utilize excellent communication skills by properly responding to basic customer inquiries/requests and notifying proper management of complaints or issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Utilize the training provided in order to serve as a problem solver for our customers by inspecting for pest entry points and mosquito habitats. A pest and mosquito free environment is the goal and guarantee!
• Complete job documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean company vehicle and operate vehicle safely and legally.
• Ability to be flexible with schedule as needed to meet weekly responsibilities, including occasional weekend hours.
• Drive company vehicle to client properties in a professional, safe and friendly manner.

Requirements

• High School graduate / GED preferred
• Valid Driver’s license
• Job requires standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling
• Extended hours and weekends opportunities possible during peak periods
• One to three years of experience is preferred but not required
