Job description

A.T. Still University's Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) is seeking a non-exempt Clinical Adjunct Faculty member at the St. Louis Dental Center. The faculty member will teach, mentor, grade, and supervise pre-doctoral dental students to ensure they achieve clinical competency.

Please note that adjunct positions are filled on an as-needed basis.

Requirements

Major Job Duties:

  1. Monitor students as they develop and implement patient treatment plans, achieve educational goals, and attain competency.
  2. Report and communicate student progress and deficiencies to the CCU directors regularly.
  3. Ensure the safety of patients, students, staff, and faculty during all phases of dental treatment.
  4. Adhere to OSHA and CDC infection control guidelines.
  5. Remain calibrated with MOSDOH teaching and grading criteria and educational standards.
  6. Support the mission and goals of ATSU / MOSDOH.
Education / Experience
  • Doctorate or higher in Dental Medicine or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of teaching experience in a dental environment.
  • 5-10 years of experience in various dental practice settings.
