Job summary

Beeline is hiring a Mortgage Underwriter to evaluate loan applications for creditworthiness and adherence to guidelines. You will manage an underwriting pipeline and review DSCR, Conventional, FHA, VA, and HELOC files, ensuring accuracy across documents and systems.

In this role you will analyze tax returns, appraisals, condo docs, and title work while maintaining high loan quality. Collaboration with mortgage partners and independent work style are valued in Beeline’s fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with DSCR, Conventional, FHA, VA, and HELOC loan programs.
• Assess borrowers' credit and income documentation for accuracy.
• Familiarity with title, appraisal reviews, and closing conditions.
• Ability to detect potential fraud and misrepresentation in loan files.
• Proficiency with underwriting software and risk assessment tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage underwriting pipeline for initial, condition review, and final review of loans.
• Review DSCR, Conventional, FHA, VA, and HELOC loan applications and documentation.
• Assist with underwriting questions, scenarios, and challenges.
• Evaluate loan parameters: LTV, DTI, credit, income, assets, and down payment sources.
• Analyze tax returns and other income documents for accuracy.
• Validate data consistency between company systems and AUS.
• Uphold loan quality and compliance standards with each transaction.
• Evaluate appraisals, condo documents, and title work for eligibility.
